Photo 1: This is a nice image, immediately interesting due to the different elements, all of which appear to be in focus. I like the grass/tire element being in the foreground in front of the house, it add to the story of the house. I also really like how the red roof stands out, my eye is drawn to it. Maybe next time, slightly change the angle so the grass/tire remains in the foreground, but doesn't take up such a large proportion of the photo.
Photo 2: There are clear foreground, middle and background elements, all of which are in focus. I guess you aren't quite close enough to the foreground element for the purpose of the assignment, but it's nice to be able to see it in full, within the context you've captured through how you've framed the image. I imagine on a sunnier day there would be more light contrast among the greenery, which could be interesting.

Your foreground subjects need to be much closet to achieve the technical/visual specs of the projects.
